Here is a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don't worry be happy
In every life we have some trouble
When you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy......
Ain't got no place to lay your head
Somebody came and took your bed
Don't worry, be happy
The land lord say your rent is late
He may have to litigate
Don't worry, be happy
Lood at me I am happy
Don't worry, be happy
Here I give you my phone number
When you worry call me
I make you happy
Don't worry, be happy
Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style
Ain't got not girl to make you smile
But don't worry be happy
Cause when you worry
Your face will frown
And that will bring everybody down
So don't worry, be happy (now).....
There is this little song I wrote
I hope you learn it note for note
Like good little children
Don't worry, be happy
Listen to what I say
In your life expect some trouble
But when you worry
You make it double
Don't worry, be happy......
Don't worry don't do it, be happy
Put a smile on your face
Don't bring everybody down like this
Don't worry, it will soon past
Whatever it is
Don't worry, be happy
Having a happy, resilient and optimistic life is the most wonderful thing in the world, also is good for our health. It actually helps protect us from the stresses of life, which has been identified as one of the top causes of death e.g. heart disease, cancer and stroke.
To be happy is relatively easy, all we need to do is just decide to be a happy person. We can choose to be happy or stressed, relaxed or troubled with all the happenings around us. The choice is just simply easy, choose to be happy, and that's it.
Now, the question is 'HOW'?
1. Be grateful. We have so much to be thankful of. Thank our family for being our companion everyday, thank our colleagues for the cooperation that they provide us and thank the cook for a wonderful lunch. No matter how small the thing is, we can always express our thankfulness.
2. Be connected to religious activities. It can be as simple as joining the choir group, reading the bible, joining the cell groups and etc. Soon we will see that our inner is in peace, and from there, happiness comes in.
3. Manage time effectively. Time management helps us to manage all the things through proper schedule, goal setting and listings of thing to do with its priority. It will free us up, thus we can develop our interests and start our journey of happiness.
4. Laugh everyday. 'Laughter is the best medicine'. Share a good joke with friends and family, let the laughter infects everyone.
5. Be expressive. Express our feelings, affections, friendship and passion to people around us; at the same time, be a good listener to others. Try not to keep any negative emotions to ourselves as it is bad for our health. Instead find ways of expressing them in such a way that will not cause more injury to anyone.
6. Learning. Try to learn new things everyday, either small or big. It expands and broadens our visions, widens our horizons, which is a natural cure for our lonely heart. It could also give us more opportunities in the future.
7. Exercising. Moving our bodies, either by running, jogging, walking, or playing balls makes us feel alive.
8. Avoid exposure to negative elements such as loud noises, toxins and hazardous places.
Well, that's some simple things we can try daily.
Join me and be happy. Remember, most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be, a quote from Abraham Lincoln.
