Interesting Hermit Crabs

Hermit Crabs - the most interesting creatures you can find on the beach.

It doesn't have its own shell, but uses other animal's old shells as protection, most frequently the shell of sea snails. As it grows bigger in size, it will finds a larger shell. As hermit crabs enjoy being in crowd, it is common to find them compete or you can say it as "fighting" with each others over the shells that they favor.

Hermit crabs' life span can be up from 6 to 15 years, but many only live until 6 to 12 months. When it gets too big for its shell, it moves to another one as it grows into a larger exoskeleton.
